I would like to express heartfelt congratulations to all my Facebook friends who are "movin' on up in Farmville" or taking down pimps on the cold dark streets of Mafia Wars. My heart truly swells with pride with each and every post of your latest and greatest exploits of virtual prowess.
However, to preserve the increasingly tenuous grasp I currently have on my own sanity, and possibly to protect the painfully limited screen space on my own Facebook page, I have officially hidden your feeds from my view. Please understand, this in no way diminishes my fervent support of you, or of your valiant efforts...My spirit is still with you, whether you're searching for your lost sheep, or firing a bullet into the brain of your sworn enemy.
So, Godspeed my FB friends, and may the ghosts of Marlon Brando (or Old MacDonald) truly be with you.

Well put, Leland! I also don't care that you got a new high score at Bejeweled or furnished your pad in Yoville. I enjoy Mafia Wars, but I do try very hard to avoid having it post anything on peoples' walls. I wish there was a default setting on these games to not post updates.
